Dr. Wong received a bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biophysics & Biochemistry from Yale University and a master’s degree in Clinical Epidemiology & Biostatistics from the University of Pennsylvania. She attended Stanford Medical School, completed her internal medicine residency training at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital/Harvard School of Medicine and completed her GI fellowship training at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Wong specializes in both general gastroenterology and hepatology. Her clinical interests include, but are not limited to, gastrointestinal issues related to women’s health, malignancies of the gastrointestinal tract and genetic colon cancer syndromes. She performs routine endoscopic procedures, such as colonoscopies and upper endoscopies.
Dr. Wong is active in clinical research and is devoted to the education of medical students, residents and fellows. She was on faculty at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine as an Assistant Professor of medicine, Associate Fellowship Program Director, and Director of the GI clinic at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center from 2008-2012.
She is an active member of the American Gastroenterology Association, American College of Gastroenterology and is a fellow of the American College of Physicians.
