Learn MoreNot as it used to be. Two weeks ago, my colonoscopy. The needle from anesthesia still hurts. The doctor had no time to talk and ran to the next patient. Sad that standards have gone down. The good news is that the "preps" have improved.
This was my first experience with this facility but not my first colonoscopy. I was a little unnerved by reviews I read, but the timely scheduling of my procedure and proximity was priority. Every aspect of this experience was professional and friendly. Taylor was great checking me in and preping ne for my procedure and Theresa took the time to make sure I was ok to leave, offering refreshnents several times while I was in recovery. Dr. Fink introduced himself to me and discussed procedure before and also came by after to share results. It is a busy place but my interactions and those that I witnessed with other patients appeared positive and caring. Thank you.
On Monday, February 13th I had my first colonoscopy. I also had an endoscopy. Several years ago I had an endoscopy at that facility with a different doctor. I felt familiar with the facility. Checking in was seem less. The nurse who took me back was friendly and kind. The nurse anesthetist had a great sense of humor. I requested to three people that my accipient be present when the doctor came to talk to me after the procedures. I was told it would happen. My accipient was told that she would be called when the doctor came to talk to me. No accipient was present during this time. I was still out of it. The recovery nurse was "hands-off." I was offered something to drink, but nothing to eat such as crackers, etc. I was dizzy and woozy. I had questions about the instructions that were given since issues were discovered. She said it is all on the paper and that I can read it. She said it was time to get up and that I was under anesthesia. She walked me to the door, let me out, and gave me to my accipient telling them I was still under anesthesia. They were worried that I would not make it to the car. My previous experience was seven years ago. My dad was there two years ago. All I can say, things have really changed and not for the better. I have tried several times to contact someone about my next steps. Have not heard anything.
I agree with the previous reviews. They are crowded, disorganized, and don't provide personalized care. A nurse couldn't get an IV in my arm so she got someone to help after stabbing me three times and causing some bleeding, and after my procedure they rushed me out of the office before I could stand. Avoid if you have any other options.

I just came home from my colonoscopy. The nurses at this facility were beyond amazing! So very sweet and friendly. I wish I remembered their names. They made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Huntington was very nice as well. I highly recommend this facility.
