Dr. Albert was born and raised in Philadelphia. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from The Pennsylvania State University and earned her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Following medical school, Dr. Albert went on to complete a residency in internal medicine as well as a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at Lankenau Medical Center. During that time, she presented at multiple national society meetings and was published in several peer-reviewed journals, including the American Journal of Medical Sciences and the Journal of the American Osteopathic Association. She was also strongly dedicated to the education of medical students and trainees, and served as a hospitalist at Bryn Mawr Hospital and Lankenau Medical Center.

Dr. Albert treats all general digestive and liver disorders, and is an active member of the American Gastroenterological Association, the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopists and the Crohn’sand Colitis Foundation of America.
