Dr. Janson Jacob is a dedicated physician specializing in Gastroenterology. He earned both his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Doctor of Medicine from Drexel University, where he received several honors, including Clinical Honors in Internal Medicine and Surgery, and awards for academic excellence and community service. He previously completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Michigan Health System.
His clinical and research interests focus on inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), particularly in healthcare delivery models, chronic abdominal pain, and healthcare utilization. He has been actively involved in multiple impactful research projects, including studies on home-based infusions during the COVID-19 pandemic, opioid use in IBD, and dual-targeted therapies.
