
Dr. Jessica Sterling was born and raised in the Philadelphia area. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Honors College at the University of Delaware and then obtained her medical degree from Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. She then pursued fellowship training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Temple University Hospital, where she was nominated by her peers and faculty to serve as chief fellow. During fellowship, she presented at multiple national meetings and won an award from the American College of Gastroenterology for colon cancer screening outreach.
Dr. Sterling is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and American Gastroenterological Association and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She treats all general gastrointestinal and liver disorders.
Dr. Sterling lives in Philadelphia with her husband. She is an avid traveler and foodie.
